Restaurant Wernis on the Excellence Empress

My latest project is the fine dining restaurant Wernis on the river cruise ship Excellence Empress, which sails from Vienna via the Danube to the Black Sea. Stops include Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest, Bratislava and many other places worth seeing along the beautiful second-largest and, at 2758 km, second-longest river in Europe after the Volga.

My own style of cooking is a combination of traditional French craftsmanship with the influences of my origins, Aramaic cuisine. Restaurant Wernis is the result of many years of great cooperation with Reisebüro Mittelthurgau, where I have had the pleasure of cooking as a guest chef on the various river cruisers in recent years.

I am responsible for the sauce concept for the kebab restaurant “mit&ohne” in a prime location in Zurich. I spent a long time creating exquisite sauces for my exclusive surf'n'turf kebab that harmonize perfectly with meat and prawns.
